Polyisobutylene Applications
- Polyisobutylene (PIB) is used in lubricating oils. Chemicalbook fields such as additives, polymer material post-processing, medicine and cosmetics, and food additives all have very important uses.
- Low molecular weight PIB can be used to produce ashless dispersants, adhesives, sealants, medicines and cosmetics Moisturizers, etc.;
- PIB with medium relative molecular weight is mainly used as chewing gum base and insulating glass sealing materials as well as agricultural pesticides.
