- Low molecular weight PIB is commonly used in the production of ashless dispersants, adhesives, sealants, and moisturizers for pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications.
- Medium molecular weight PIB is mainly applied as a chewing gum base, insulating glass sealant, and additive in agricultural pesticides.
