Brominated Butyl Rubber BIIR-2132 is an isobutylene-isoprene copolymer elastomer containing active bromine. Because BIIR has a nearly saturated main chain like butyl rubber, it possesses many of the properties of butyl polymers, such as high physical strength, good vibration damping, low permeability, aging resistance, and weather resistance.
