Properties Of Polyisobutylene PIB
A colorless to pale-yellow viscous liquid or elastic, rubber-like semi-solid (lower molecular weight grades appear as soft, viscous fluids; higher molecular weight grades appear as rubbery solids with plasticity and elasticity).
Solubility: Soluble in petroleum ether, mineral oil, and chlorinated hydrocarbons; insoluble in water, ethanol, and other polar solvents.
