Product Description
Low Molecular Weight Poly (Isobutylene) are colorless or slightly yellow transparent liquids at room temperature, non-toxic and odorless, characterized by high viscosity. They exhibit excellent chemical stability and resistance to heat, oxidation, ozone, acids and alkalis, ultraviolet radiation, and weathering. They exhibit high volume resistivity, low expansion coefficient, and contain no dielectric materials, ensuring excellent electrical insulation.
When heated, they decompose without residue and demonstrate good compatibility with polyethylene, paraffin wax, and similar materials. Soluble in organic solvents such as gasoline and benzene, they are insoluble in water and alcohol-based solvents, and possess good shear stability.

- Low molecular weight PIB can be used to produce food preservation film, stretch wrap film, silage preservation film, automotive protective film, and tackifying masterbatch.
- It can also serve as an adhesive for pressure-sensitive adhesives, hot melt adhesives, and pressure-sensitive adhesives.
